This presentation will provide you with a preview of how to navigate the sketch workspace so
you can find and use the exciting tools and features of Sketch to increase the accuracy of your
estimates and decrease the time it takes for you to create them.

Sketch Demonstration and Application
See and learn how to apply sketch tools, techniques, and shortcuts to quickly and accurately
create a floor plan and roof.

Adding and Modifying Line Items
Learn how to use a variety of methods to help you quickly find and modify the line items you
need to create an accurate estimate. See the exciting features of graphical estimation, 3D
Estimating, reference search, related and similar item search, retrieve scope, summary list, copy
& paste, global change, macros, wizards, templates, and more in action!

Use of Variables to Quantify Line Items
Learn how to use variables to make estimating dynamic and efficient by using operations,
formulas, and equations to calculate the correct line item quantities of rooms and roofs.
In addition, you will use room variables and subvariables to add the appropriate line item
quantity to an estimate. Also, you will learn to use reference area variables to calculate area
portions that have different material, such as tile or wood.
